SCOPE:

Structural design for a four-story volumetric modular residential building, incorporating a transfer structure to support prefabricated units above ground-level parking and shared spaces.

The project advanced modular construction techniques in New York City, improving efficiency through off-site fabrication while reducing on-site constraints. We contributed to the development of alternative connection strategies to support constructability and code compliance.

OUR ROLES:

Stephanie Berrios was the Engineer of Record. She performed QC review of structural design and worked with the team on design revisions as needed for code compliance.
