Animal Medical Center Renovation

New York, NY | 2021–2025

SCOPE:

Structural engineering and construction support for the expansion and renovation of one of the world’s largest veterinary teaching hospitals and the only Level 1 veterinary trauma center in New York City.

Working within a fully operational facility, the project required careful phasing and protection strategies. We provided construction logistics and structural input to ensure safe integration of new work while maintaining continuous operations. As part of the project we provided key input for construction logistics for the protection of hospital users and street-level pedestrians while maintaining the 7 day per week 365 day per year operations.

OUR ROLES:

Dave Douglas was the Project Executive and Stephanie Berrios was the Lead Structural Engineer.
